Job description
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Project Manager to oversee and coordinate metro rail construction activities, ensuring timely project execution, quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Supervise and manage daily construction activities for metro viaducts, elevated stations, and associated civil works.
* Oversee piling, pile caps, piers, pier caps, precast segments, launching girders, and structural works.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
* Monitor project schedules, manpower, machinery, materials, and resource allocation.
* Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
* Track project progress, identify execution challenges, and implement corrective measures.
* Support project planning, budgeting, billing, subcontractor management, and cost control.
* Prepare progress reports and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
**Requirements:**
* **Qualification:** B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
* **Experience:** 10–15 years in infrastructure construction, preferably with substantial experience in metro rail projects.
* Strong knowledge of elevated metro structures, viaduct construction, precast segment erection, and bridge works.
* Experience in project execution, site management, planning, and subcontractor coordination.
* Familiarity with Primavera P6/MS Project preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
