Job description
We are seeking an experienced Project Planning Engineer to manage project scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and coordination for metro rail construction projects, ensuring timely completion of project milestones.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Prepare and update project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
* Develop baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and detailed construction plans.
* Monitor progress of metro viaducts, elevated stations, piling, piers, precast segments, and structural works.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, MIS reports, S-curves, and project dashboards.
* Track project milestones, identify delays, analyze critical paths, and recommend corrective actions.
* Coordinate with execution teams, subcontractors, consultants, and project management teams.
* Plan and monitor manpower, machinery, materials, and resource requirements.
* Support project budgeting, cash flow forecasting, productivity analysis, and cost monitoring.
* Prepare recovery schedules, look-ahead plans, and delay analysis reports.
**Requirements:**
* **Qualification:** B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
* **Experience:** 10+ years in infrastructure project planning, preferably in metro rail or elevated corridor projects.
* Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Advanced Excel.
* Knowledge of metro construction methodologies, project scheduling, resource loading, and critical path analysis.
* Experience in progress monitoring, MIS reporting, and project coordination.
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
